So, back to the cockpit. I flew PA 28 G-CETE with Liam as instructor for the first time on Sunday, 20 June. Beautiful clear skies on a warm afternoon. After my lengthy break from flying, we decided to do circuits again to the South and I did 5 touch 'n' goes and then a 6th to land. The first circuit was a bit ropey but I improved throughout and am now feeling pretty confident about circuits into Elstree.
There are 2 areas I need to keep concentrating on: my radiowork and (more critically) trimming correctly on the base leg. I'm reasonably confident I've got this though.
All in all a thoroughly enjoyable hour in the air!
Now for the Air Law exam: I am behind on cramming for this but it is critical as I am getting close to going to solo ... maybe ...
Next lesson, flapless landings!
